All Multidisciplinary Studies students are encouraged to apply for scholarships to help fund their education.
- The first step in the process is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- The next step is to complete the Boise State Scholarship Application.
You may also consider applying for outside scholarships. Below are some Boise State scholarships you may be eligible for as a Multidisciplinary Studies student.
Second Chance Scholarship
The Second Chance Scholarship is for students who is a permanent resident of the United States, with an interest in the study of arts, humanities, social sciences, communications, public service, history, languages, general studies or education with progress towards a 3.0 cumulative GPA planning to enroll full or part time. You must also be readmitted or accepted as a transfer student to Boise State. You must have experienced a cumulative gap in education of at least 5 years. This is a one-year award.

Karen Kelsch Memorial Scholarship
The Karen Kelsch Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Karen Kelsch, a 27-year staff member at Boise State and non-traditional student who passed away in November 2008.
In Kelsch’s honor, this scholarship assists non-traditional students pursuing the Multidisciplinary Studies degree with a 3.0 cumulative GPA, attending part or full time. This is a one-year award.

Best Budd’s Family Scholarship
The Best Budd’s Family scholarship is for adult students (at least 30 years old) with a declared Multidisciplinary Studies major, who are enrolled at least part-time (6 undergraduate credits), and have a minimum GPA of at least 2.25. Financial need preferred (but not required.)

Boise State Osher Reentry Scholarship
Annual individual awards up to $1250 for part-time students and $2500 for full-time students are available for degree-seeking undergraduate re-entry students through the Boise State Osher Reentry Scholarship. Read more about the scholarship criteria and complete an application.
